Overview Gough Recruitment are seeking a Senior Estimator that is experienced in Residential and Commercial projects for a longstanding client with an excellent reputation in market. They get a significant amount of repeat business as they deliver a high level of service to their clients. Responsibilities Manage the full estimating process from tender to submission across residential and commercial projects. Analyse drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities. Source competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating terms where required. Collaborate with Directors and project teams to ensure budgets align with client and delivery requirements. Review tender documentation, identify risks and value opportunities, and provide ongoing cost advice. Qualifications 5 years’ estimating experience within residential and commercial construction. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and cost planning. Proven ability to deliver accurate tenders on projects up to multi-million-dollar value. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with subcontractors and suppliers. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel; exposure to Procore advantageous.
