Who we are looking for Reporting directly to the SVP - Global Head of Markets Operations, this position is the Global Head of Portfolio Solutions Operations and leads teams across Sydney, Boston, India, UK, and Poland. Markets Operations Business lines include Client Onboarding, Data Maintenance, and Operational support for Financing Solutions, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, Treasury, Portfolio Solutions, Regulatory Reporting, Business Optimization, and Product teams. We seek an industry leader with hands-on experience in Operational and Regional Management within a Markets business. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of banking operations, stakeholder management, effective communication, conflict resolution, and influencing skills. What you will be responsible for As Global Head of Portfolio Solutions Operations, you will: Support the Portfolio Solutions business, including trade booking and settlement for equity and fixed income transactions globally. Lead product expansion initiatives and establish operating models to support the business. Oversee IT activities related to Portfolio Solutions using global staff and budgets. Manage regulatory, reputational, and operational risk events. Supervise approximately 30 FTEs across 6 locations, focusing on staff engagement and retention. Oversee third-party vendor support, ensuring adherence to scope of work and risk management. Education & Preferred Qualifications 20 years of experience in Banking Operations within a large multinational bank. Experience in regulatory reporting is a plus. The candidate should be energetic, with executive presence, effective communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and influencing skills. Strong risk management and control focus. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts.
