Who will the successful applicant be? / Qualifications Experienced, with recent engagement, as a secondary school educator in teaching Christian Development Years 7-12 and Stage 6 Studies of Religion Theologically qualified at a Diploma level or higher Enthusiastic about their subject and the ability to inspire secondary age students Flexible in working with a range of student abilities Knowledgeable of recent developments in the theory and practice of senior secondary pedagogy and specifically how this applies to their subject area Experienced in leadership in curriculum development and implementation of new syllabuses Highly developed in communication and collaboration skills Outstanding in interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the Christian Development/Chaplaincy team Confident in the use of technology and a willingness to embrace it to enhance learning in the classroom Understanding of and having a commitment to the School’s Christian mission, values, and ethos Previous experience teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is highly desirable.
