We are looking for a top-performing school leader to lead the Australian arm of our business through this exciting phase of growth. You should be passionate about education, especially to see literacy levels rise in Australia; familiarity and knowledge of the Writer’s Toolbox programme is an advantage. About the Role: Our Head of Schools (Australia) is responsible for Writer’s Toolbox Australian operation. As such, you play a pivotal role leading and driving the continued strategic growth and maintaining the level of educational excellence in the organisation already achieved. This is a hands-on, dynamic leadership opportunity for a proven high performer. Based in our Brisbane HQ, this is a full-time position with opportunities for career development and progression. No two days are the same: you could be meeting with a diocese, reviewing operational efficiency, supporting school leaders in client schools, or speaking at a key conference. What you'll be doing: Responsible for the educational, financial and operational performance of our entire Australian business Ensure Australian operations deliver sustained growth and exceptional service Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery aligned with the company's strategic objectives Develop and implement robust business plans and budgets Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing organisational culture Represent the company at key events Build and maintain influential relationships with key stakeholders Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, identifying new growth opportunities Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies What we're looking for: Extensive experience in school leadership Proven track record of leading successful school transformation Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams Proactive and action-oriented with a growth mindset Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and influencing skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies Tertiary qualifications in education and management Values-led with a genuine commitment to purpose-driven work A passion for making a difference in a pivotal sector of society In return, we offer a competitive remuneration package and a dynamic, purpose-led working environment.
