The Role: Your role as Development Underwriter will be to generate new business, handle renewals and endorsements. Initially you will be in a support capacity supporting underwriters as you ramp up to secure your delegated authority before you run your own portfolio. This will be within a well structured insurance agency focusing on a range of products incluing Property, Motor, Business Pack and will require you to learn individual risk assessment. Your main focus will be on the customers needs, supporting them through the journey, empathy is a must! Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as Claims Specialists and Brokers to help aid you in your growth Learn and develop, with plenty of longstanding specialists, you will be growing from day one. Bring Ideas, the business is agile and consistently wanting to adapt with the time, this will include being involved with ad-hoc project working! Requirements for the Role: up to 3 years experience in insurance, preferably underwriting with a preference for commercial insurance products such as Property, Business Pack/SME and Motor Be a team player.
