We are seeking individuals who are confident in their communication skills, as they will actively interact with our visitors. They will also promote and enhance the zoo's campaign messages and products, all while ensuring that our visitors have the most extraordinary and unforgettable experience that Melbourne Zoo can provide. The successful candidate will have: A strong focus on delivering exceptional visitor experiences is an absolute necessity. Previous experience in prominent retail sectors such as big box retail, fashion, or home and giftware is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in sales, with a keen emphasis on achieving and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs), including AVG$, UPT, CONVERSION, and WAP. Proficiency in inventory management, encompassing tasks like unpacking, processing, replenishing, and ensuring stock supplies are well-maintained. A proactive drive to challenge oneself to reach both individual and company objectives. The ability to contribute to the store's efficient operation, adhering to internal policies and procedures. Exceptional communication skills, marked by confidence and strong interpersonal abilities. A sharp eye for detail and a penchant for organizational excellence. A calm and composed demeanour under pressure, coupled with a comfort in high-paced environments. Willingness and ability to follow instructions promptly and accurately with a sense of urgency and precision.
