This role will deliver a podiatric clinical service within a high risk foot service to stakeholders and customers of Queensland Health across hospital and community health centre based settings The Role An opportunity has become available for two Podiatrists to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Deliver a competent level of Podiatry clinical services within a discipline specific or multidisciplinary team Provide input in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the Podiatry work area Undertake routine Podiatry tasks with well established clinical protocols within a high-risk foot service Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient / client care About you To be successful in this position you will require: Tertiary degree or equivalent qualification in Podiatry AHPRA Registration Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Research Opportunities 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Permanent full time and Permanent part time (one full time position and one part time position, 60.8 hrs p.f.) Base salary ranging from $79 051 - $116 189 per annum, $39.86 - $58.59 per hour About Us High Risk Foot service based at Southport is a Podiatry led service aimed and increasing access to assessment, care planning and interventions for patients with high risk of developing foot ulcers that can lead to amputation if not managed in a timely and appropriate fashion.
