M. Tucker & Sons are an established pipeline repair company that consists of plumbing, drainage, CCTV investigations, drain cleaning and trenchless repairs such as patching and relining of municipality assets. We require highly motivated individuals to join our expanding traffic control team and be part of a well respected company that is on the front foot of pipeline repairs and renovation for councils and water authorities. We are seeking a fit and motivated casual traffic controllers to work from our depots between Mount Evelyn and Epping. Qualifications / Tickets Required: - traffic control tickets - all applicants to be Category 1 and 2 accredited. Must have TC1/2 and TMI1/2 certification. Experience on DoT roads is essential - drivers licence - white card - first aid - police check - WWCC Job description: - Set up, maintain, and remove temporary traffic control schemes/signs. - Direct vehicles and pedestrian traffic around construction zones; ensuring the safety of construction workers and the general public. - Use a "Stop-Slow" sign, or maintain other similar traffic control signs and devices, to direct traffic. - Complete site checks and monitor traffic behaviour and/or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times. - Ability to be professional and remain calm when interacting with members of the public.
