Platform Technology Manager Job No: 676738 Sydney - Inner Suburbs & CBD, Brisbane - Inner Suburbs & CBD, Melbourne - Inner Suburbs & CBD, Various Permanent Full Time IT Pay Band 6 Lead technical strategy and platform architecture across cross-functional teams Collaborate with senior leaders to shape future-focused technology solutions Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne locations with flexible hybrid working As a Platform Technology Manager, you’ll lead the technical direction and performance of platform systems across Suncorp. You’ll work closely with cross-functional squads, senior stakeholders, and technology leaders to ensure solutions are aligned with strategic goals and built within architectural guardrails. This is a leadership role where you’ll influence outcomes, drive innovation, and support a collaborative, inclusive culture. This role offers strong career progression opportunities within Technology & Transformation, with exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives and senior leadership. What You’ll Do Lead technical decision-making and ensure solutions align with platform strategy and risk appetite Collaborate with Platform Leads and Practice Leads to navigate architectural guardrails and approvals Provide technical thought leadership across platforms, tribes, and T&T domains Monitor platform performance and guide the roadmap for platform-owned assets Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence strategic direction Support a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement What You’ll Bring Experience in platform or enterprise technology leadership roles (5–10 years) Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills Expertise in platform architecture, application performance, and strategic delivery Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in dynamic, fast-evolving environments Advanced communication and analytical skills Experience with change management and customer-focused delivery What You’ll Enjoy Access our award-winning Shine platform – your central hub for exclusive perks, wellbeing support, career development, and recognition.
