Your next career opportunity As a Clinical Educator in the Department of Nursing, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals. Your responsibilities will include: Deliver Engaging Clinical Education: Prepare and conduct practical teaching sessions, including simulated labs, to develop students' critical thinking skills. Support Professional Experience Placements: Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate placements, providing guidance to students and clinical partners throughout the process. Contribute to Curriculum Development: Assist in developing assessments, providing effective feedback, and participating in course improvement initiatives. Foster Partnerships and Innovation: Collaborate with healthcare providers to expand placement opportunities and establish innovative placement models. You may be a great fit if: You are an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for education, possessing strong clinical skills, teaching experience, and the ability to foster productive partnerships in the healthcare sector. You may also: Unrestricted AHPRA registration and hold a Masters degree in nursing or a related field. Have experience in clinical teaching or facilitation. Demonstrate a commitment to developing excellence in nursing graduates. Possess highly developed interpersonal skills with a student-centred approach.
