We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician (fitter by trade) to join a nationally recognized electrical cable manufacturer in Crestmead . This is a full-time day shift position offering consistent hours and career growth. Day to Day responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and repairs of manufacturing equipment and systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and document all work performed. Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and inventory of tools and spare parts. Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards. Support installation and commissioning of new equipment when required. Forklift duties if needed. Equipment used: Wet & Dry Wire Drawing Machine Extrusion Machine Forklifts What we need from you: A Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related trade) or equivalent. Valid LF Forklift licence. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in cable manufacturing or similar heavy industrial setting.
