The key duties of the position include This position will be offered as an initial non-ongoing role for up to 12 months with possibility of extension. From this process a merit pool will be formed to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they arise. Our ideal candidate will have most or all of the following skills and knowledge: Proven superior writing ability, particularly in a social media context Proficient understanding and use of social media channels with the ability to take complex, technical language and translate it for a broader audience Demonstrated experience in project coordination in a professional communications team. Demonstrated high level attention to detail and organisational skills including the ability to effectively plan, manage and prioritise one's workload and escalate issues when required. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate and build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. *Relevant qualifications in social media, marketing, journalism or public relations will be highly regarded.
