ARIA Research is a Sydney based, deep-tech startup developing a world first vision system that delivers a form of high-fidelity spatial perception, analogous in utility to sight. Our mission is to deliver an affordable, scalable, non-surgical solution to the challenges of living with vision disabilities that affect over 338 million people worldwide. This role is for a Senior Software Engineer (Unity) to join our small engineering team. The role is initially for a 12-month fixed duration. Required Degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in a full-time software engineering role Proficient in working within the Unity software environment Proficient in coding languages such as Python, C, C++, C# and Java Proficient in the concepts of Agile and DevOps in software development Preferred Experience deploying software to Android and/or IOS devices or similar Experience working within a small engineering team or startup Familiarity with XR/VR/AR systems within Unity and/or similar frameworks An understanding of development in a structured or process driven environment, such as medical devices or medical software Excellent documentation, communication and presentation skills You must be an Australian citizen, resident or already have a suitable working visa to apply.
