Locum Palliative Care Physician – Toowoomba Hospital, QLD Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Dates Available: Block 1: Monday 1 September 2025 (0800) – Friday 26 September 2025 (1630) Block 2: Monday 13 October 2025 (0800) – Friday 31 October 2025 (1630) Daily Rate: Up to \$2,303.70/day Role Overview: We are seeking a Locum Palliative Care Physician to join the team at Toowoomba Hospital. The role includes: Community care, inpatient consultation, and inpatient management Telehealth and outpatient clinics Registrar support available Roster: Monday–Friday, 0800–1630, with 1 week on-call every 3 weeks Accommodation & Travel: Self-contained accommodation provided by Toowoomba Hospital Return economy airfares or mileage reimbursement (37.5c/km if driving) Mandatory Documents Required: Confirmed availability for above dates Current signed and dated CV Copy of current AHPRA registration Two recent references (within 12 months, one from current role) Certified copies of Driver’s Licence and Passport * Eligibility for rebateable provider number (mandatory) Location – Toowoomba, QLD: Known as the “Garden City”, Toowoomba offers a vibrant community, great schools, cultural events, and easy access to Brisbane.
