Safety Officer - Adelaide We're partnering with a national construction group to find their next Safety Officer - someone who can bring both technical know-how and a people-first approach to a major Adelaide project. This isn't just a role about ticking boxes. It's about being present on site, building relationships, and making sure safety is lived and breathed every day. What you'll be doing Taking the lead on site inspections, audits, and inductions Guiding the team through toolbox talks and emergency drills Investigating minor incidents (and supporting senior leaders with major ones) Keeping first aid and emergency response systems in top shape Acting as a "guide on the side" - approachable, practical, and solutions-focused What we're looking for White card and first aid certification (fire warden training a bonus - we'll support you if you don't have it) Mid to senior-level experience in construction safety Qualification in WHS A strong communicator who can coach, influence, and gain trust across the site Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check Ability to obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check What's on offer A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 super Phone and laptop provided Opportunities to stay on beyond this project and be part of something bigger Why you'll enjoy it here A family-owned business with a flat, relationship-based structure Strong, visible leadership that takes safety seriously Open to innovation, with plenty of room to grow as the business grows Ready to step into your next role?
