We’re seeking an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our Cabletech team as a storeperson. This is a full-time role based in Thornleigh, NSW with an immediate start available. Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (no weekend work). Your new role: You will be responsible for operating our Cable Cutting Machine – including loading the machine with cable drums and cutting/packing new drums ready for delivery – as well as performing a range of general warehouse duties. Your responsibilities will include: Operate the cable cutting machine to cut and prepare cable drums for dispatch. Ensure cables are accurately cut, labelled, and packaged neatly for delivery. Move and organise cable drums around the warehouse (forklift licence required). Check and verify cable measurements, selecting correct cable types for orders. General warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders for dispatch, as well as other associated tasks. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. Follow all standard safety and security procedures. To be successful in this role: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics or similar environment is preferred. You will be ambitious with a driven attitude, with a keen interest in progressing within the business. You have a valid Forklift licence, this is required (LF ticket). You will have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including manual handling items up to 23kg. You will have strong time management skills and can prioritise your workload. You must be an Australian or New Zealand resident or citizen, as sponsorship is not available for this role (temporary visas cannot be accepted).
