The Company: Our FMCG client is a market leader in their sector and they have recently grown considerably. This has enabled the expansion of the Supply Chain team and the opportunity to bring on an experienced Customer Service professional to support their customers through the process. The manufacturing plant is based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, with parking onsite. With approx. 100 staff, this is a busy site with a consistent workload. The Role: Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, and working alongside 3 teammates, this is a newly created role due to increased workload. You will be based in the office full time, but there is the possibility of some flexibility in hours and the added benefit of 5 weeks annual leave. Typical activities: Maintaining communication and service excellence with customers throughout the contract and beverage processing timeframes Coordinating with internal teams eg production, logistics, quality Producing reports for customers Managing purchase orders Problem solving and escalating issues to Supply Chain Manager Updating various systems including various MS Excel trackers Skills and experience Experience in a similar customer-facing supply chain role Experience in FMCG, preferably food & beverage Strong technology skills, including Excel Can work autonomously Confident communication skills and demonstrated experience building good customer relationships Team player and flexible approach to work This role is available immediately!
