You'll be the go-to person for Chris21-related processing and troubleshooting and will also support broader team initiatives, including payroll reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement. Role Overview Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you'll ensure payroll accuracy across multiple pay cycles while liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain employee data. You'll also play a key role in supporting a major payroll system migration and gain exposure to broader HR and finance operations. Responsibilities Perform end-to-end payroll processing using Chris21 for weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs Maintain employee records and process onboarding, terminations, and pay changes Interpret and apply relevant enterprise agreements, awards, and payroll legislation Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting Provide accurate and timely responses to payroll queries from internal stakeholders Support testing and implementation of new payroll systems (e.g., Dayforce) Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate data flow and reporting Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements Candidate Profile As an ideal candidate, you will have: Demonstrated experience using Chris21 in a medium to large organisation (essential) Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation, and tax obligations Experience processing high-volume payroll across multiple entities High attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Exposure to payroll system upgrades or migrations is advantageous Payroll qualifications or certifications are highly regarded Company, Culture & Benefits This organisation is a major player in its industry, with operational excellence, safety, and innovation.
