This position is responsible for overseeing the clinical functioning of a 7-day assessment and intensive early intervention service for young people at risk of or experiencing a first episode of psychosis. Core responsibilities include triaging referrals, managing team workload, building stakeholder relationships, and leading service development and quality improvement initiatives. Reporting to the MATT Team Leader, the Clinical Lead ensures that services align with the Orygen EPPIC model and headspace philosophy. As part of the Early Psychosis Leadership team, the role plays a vital part in driving innovative clinical practice and building capacity within the Early Psychosis Program. Experience Requirements: Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment. Significant experience in the clinical development and oversight of multidisciplinary teams, including the provision of clinical supervision and creation of a team culture that is based on optimism, inclusivity and a recovery framework. Experience in performance development, supporting clinical staff and their professional development. Experience in service development and maintaining continuous quality improvement. Qualification and Other Requirements: Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology (clinical, counselling, 42 and 51 pathway), mental health nursing, and occupational therapy. Eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional body. Social workers are required to be eligible for full membership with AASW. Psychologists, mental health nurses, and occupational therapists are required to have full registration with AHPRA.
