We are seeking an experienced and energetic Electrical Supervisor to complement our existing team and support our expanding long-term program of works in the Victorian Utilities sector. Based in Metropolitan Melbourne, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering a diverse portfolio of multidisciplined projects, including earthworks, treatment plants, large-scale pipelines, pump stations and concrete structures. This is an exciting opportunity for you to advance your career, working alongside seasoned industry professionals on varied and impactful projects. In this role you'll be responsible for: Supervising and managing electrical subcontractors and a self-perform team to ensure all work is performed in accordance with the ITPs and specifications Ensuring workers implement control measures to minimise risk to health and safety of themselves and others through SWMS, Special Processes and Corrective Actions Reporting and responding to incidents, non-conformances and near misses and participating in incident investigations when required Collaborating with project engineers/managers, civil/mechanical/electrical disciplines Planning, calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources Conduct Toolbox talks and prestart meetings Scheduling plant and equipment appropriately and efficiently. How you'll connect to the role: Ideally you will have an appropriate trade certificate (or equivalent) Experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor working on projects in industrial construction, mining or maintenance Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on site Strong management capabilities with the ability to lead from the front (both subcontractors and self-perform staff) Solid understanding of industrial construction methodologies and standards Strong working knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory compliance Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely Culture.
