Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Community Hospital and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.   About Mental Health Division:  Northern Health is the third largest mental health service in Victoria Northern.  Within the Mental Health Division, we pride ourselves on providing high quality mental health services to people living in the northern regions of Melbourne, and work in a collaborative way with consumers and carers based on recovery principles.  We aim to provide strong clinical leadership to support all staff in the provision of professional treatment and care by our integrated community teams, inpatient, and residential services.    About the Role: An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to join the North West Area Mental Health Community Teams within Northern Healthâs Mental Health Division. This position is Full Time - Ongoing role (part-time will be considered). We are located at Craigieburn Community Hospital and quite central to Craigieburn Central, Public Transport and parking options. The Community teams are a large, supportive and dynamic team made up of staff that are truly passionate and motivated in supporting consumers and their families/carers. We provide a comprehensive range of specialist mental health services to people who reside in the local government areas of Merri-bek and Hume. We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer who is passionate about providing a welcoming environment to consumers and carers of our service as well as making invaluable contributions to the functioning of the teams Health Information Processes. The Administration Officer works with our databases, local health records and state-wide and local information management systems to enter data and register consumers as well as scan health records. The Administration Officer also spend time on front reception and the switchboard in our busy outpatient mental health clinic, welcoming consumers and carers into our service and directing their queries.  To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience with telephone reception or switchboard Preferably have past administration experience in a hospital or health setting but this is not essential Placing strong value on being part of a team but are able to work autonomously as well Excellent Computer and organisational skills Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills including the ability to relate appropriately and professionally with consumers and colleagues  Next Steps . . .  If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
