We’re here for you every step of the way. As a Warehouse Operator at Jaybro, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing goods and materials. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure all goods are received and stored correctly and customer orders are picked, checked, packed, dispatched correctly. Key Responsibilities Commitment to Safety leadership Quality & Compliance: View personal safety as a priority and adhere to all health, safety, quality and environment guidelines, reporting and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. Team Collaboration and Communication: Working with team members to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets. Receiving and Inspection: Receive, document and log incoming goods and materials in the inventory management system, check for accuracy and verifying the condition of the items. Storage and Organization: Safely and efficiently store goods and materials in designated locations within the warehouse. Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions. Inventory Management: Regularly update and maintain inventory records, including stock levels, stock movement, and expiration dates. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits. Shipping and Distribution: Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, and coordinate with shipping carriers or logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries. Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools, following safety protocols. Quality Control: Inspect goods and materials for damage or defects, report discrepancies, and collaborate with the relevant departments to resolve any issues. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activities, including shipment receipts, order fulfillment, and inventory transactions. Generate reports as required. Daily Management: Picking, Packing, Put-away, Inspecting, and supporting Dispatching. Requirements 1 years of experience in warehousing and distribution A strong commitment to safety practices Team player with a positive attitude Well organized with a proactive approach Forklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferable Eager to learn with a growth mindset Energetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team As part of Jaybro Group's recruitment process a medical and criminal history check will be required.
