Description Job Overview: Responsible for the provision of ground maintenance services, safe and efficient operations of mowing machinery to ensure our client’s landscaped grounds are maintained as per the site schedule and specifications. Your key responsibilities will include: • Mow Lawns using ride on mowers (front deck & Ztrack). • Remove litter from garden beds and driveways. • Remove dead branches and leaves. • Performing routine maintenance on mowing equipment • Tasks to be carried out in a manner that causes the least inconvenience to customers, staff and the general public. • Temporary warning signs placed when required. • Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the SNT operating procedures • Report maintenance and repair issues to the area supervisor. • Understand and comply with quality, safety, health and environmental policies. • Follow written instructions, verbal direction and procedures to perform work. • Challenge any instructions that you believe places anyone or the environment at risk. • Take personal responsibility to protect the health and safety of people or the environment. Skills And Experiences SELECTION CRITERIA: ESSENTIALS: Class C Driver’s Licence (manual) Ability to work under supervision and as a team member. A satisfactory National Police Security Check Report. Be physically able to perform the duties of the position Be able to perform manual work for long periods outdoors DESIRABLE: Certificate I or equivalent qualification in horticulture.
