Description The Role The Desktop Equipment Technician role with a23 is a project position in our growing company. This position will report to Modern Workplace and focus on delivering project objectives to our Fed Gov customer. Role responsibilities Technical providing technical advice, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems are optimised for efficiency and effectiveness. providing expert assistance to users, resolving complex hardware and software issues, and offering guidance on technical problems. setting up and configuring systems, including servers, software, and networks, to meet specific requirements. diagnosing complex technical problems, identifying root causes, and developing effective solutions. ensuring that systems and processes comply with relevant regulations and security standards. managing technical aspects of projects, coordinating teams, and ensuring that technical requirements are met. identifying opportunities to improve technical processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the user experience. Communication effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborating with cross-functional teams. creating technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials to educate users and colleagues. sharing technical knowledge with colleagues, providing guidance, and developing training materials. Skills And Experiences Skills, Experience and Qualifications Australian Government Security Clearance maintained at NV1. Experience handling desktop equipment, including desktops, laptops, monitor and peripherals Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot desktop hardware faults Demonstrated ability to perform basic administration of endpoints, including build and configuration Experience with basic administration of Windows 11 a23 Policy Handbook and Mandatory Training On commencing with a23, all employees and subcontractors are provided with the a23 Policy Handbook and asked to acknowledge their understanding and commitment to adhering to its policies. All employees and subcontractors are also assigned a suite of mandatory training that is required to be completed on an annual basis.
