About the Role The Clinical Lead will work within In Home Care in partnership with Baptcare management and staff to contribute to organisational performance and employee engagement through assisting management and staff to become superior performers; and, when significant change is required, transforming the organisation in the achievement of new directions and goals. Leading a team of dedicated occupational therapists, you will provide support and mentorship in providing quality care to our clients in the community. Key Duties Effectively lead teams so every customer gets safe and effective care and clinical care, that is best practice, tailored to individual needs and optimises health and wellbeing. Support intake of new consumers, undertaking thorough assessment, care planning, and goal setting, and complete review or reassessment processes as required. As a part of a multidisciplinary team, ensure clinical care reflects current best practice guidelines and respects the individual needs and preferences of the customer. Operate according to Baptcare’s procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with organisation and regulatory requirements, including all aspects of workplace health and safety legislation applicable to role. Report WHS hazards, injuries and incidents (including near misses). Act responsibly to protect your safety and the safety of others. Support and facilitate growth withing the Occupational Therapy department. About You You are passionate about continuing to grow your career in the IHC space. Working as part of a close-knit team, you collaborate with and support others, demonstrating respect in your day-to-day actions. You will ideally bring the following : Demonstrated experience in providing Occupational Therapy services within the Community Aged or Disability sectors. Experience working with Home Care Packages, Community Home Support Program, and the Short-Term Restorative Care Program.
