Flexible to start at 9 am and finish at 5 pm. Pay rate range $27 - $ 30 per hour based on qualification and experience Degree or diploma in cooking from a recognised university, college or institute of education Previous experience in a similar role and/or experience in residential aged care sector Excellent cooking skills and knowledge about kitchen management Purchasing, invoicing and stock management skills Knowle dge about special dietary requirements of elderly clients An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and follow directives as per care plan Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards Maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
