Description We are looking for a positive, capable permanent cellar hand to join our winery team located in the Barossa Valley, where there is plenty of scope to reach your full potential. Our goal is to establish Barossa Valley Estate as one of Australia’s leading premium winemakers. Barossa Valley Estate is an undercover winery, with excellent facilities located amongst the vineyards on our estate in the heart of the Barossa Valley. We produce super premium Barossa wines that showcase the very best of this iconic region. The key responsibilities of the role include: Daily operational handling and care of our wines Barrel, tanker and cellar operations, including forklift operation Filtration and bottling preparation Vintage processing Working flexible hours to meet seasonal and operational needs Contribute to continuous improvement, WHS and sustainability initiatives Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of all equipment and work areas. Confined Space Operations (Training Provided) About you You have the experience and ability to operate a range of cellar equipment. You are enthusiastic about wine, ensuring wine quality in all operations You are self-driven, organised, with a keen interest to learn. You can operate effectively both on your own and as part of a team You love the outdoors and are physically fit to perform the duties You are a clear communicator with high attention to detail.
