Job Description Respiratory Scientist – Canberra ACT Pay: $88,252 - $105,569 (Plus 11.5% Super) | Health Professional Level 2 Location: The Canberra Hospital, Garran Contract: Full Time, Permanent An exciting opportunity exists for a Respiratory Scientist to join a leading Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department of a Government Health Service in Canberra, providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient services. The role involves conducting routine and complex respiratory function assessments, supporting quality management initiatives, and contributing to research and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Perform respiratory function tests for adult and paediatric patients, including spirometry, lung volume measurements, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing. Assist with research and quality management projects to enhance patient care. Provide education and clinical supervision to staff and students. Maintain and develop evidence-based, patient-centered clinical practices.
