As Emergency Management Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in shaping emergency preparedness and response across one of Melbourne’s most dynamic and rapidly growing municipalities. You will make an impact by Supporting the development and implementation of emergency management plans and programs. Assisting in fire management planning and annual inspection programs. Providing strategic advice and coordination across Council and community stakeholders. Promoting emergency management education and awareness initiatives. Contributing to Council’s readiness and response capabilities during emergency events. What you will bring A sound understanding of emergency management principles and practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to make sound decisions using good judgement and experience. High-level customer service skills with a proactive and helpful approach. Well-developed project support and coordination capabilities.
