As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for driving revenue and gross profit ($GP) growth by actively acquiring new customers, growing existing accounts, and uncovering new market opportunities. This role is critical in building long-term relationships with Jaybro’s infrastructure, construction, and building trade customers by delivering tailored solutions and consistently providing WOW-level service across the full range of Jaybro product categories. Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across key industry sectors (civil, construction Tier 1 & 2, utilities, infrastructure). Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations. Act as a key point of contact for major projects, tenders, and supplier agreements. Resolve issues promptly, working with internal teams to ensure high service levels. Develop and execute a region sales plan aligned to regional and state growth goals. Track and analyse sales metrics, ensuring visibility on progress to targets. Conduct quarterly reviews with top-tier customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Build strong, trusted relationships with customers at all levels—site, procurement, and head office. Generate leads and drive new business, keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and market conditions Requirements Preferred experience selling to the construction industry. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Experience using CRM (Salesforce). Demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships. Good commercial awareness with a passion and drive to succeed. Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of results. Self-motivated, driven and familiar with remote working condition.
