This is a strategic leadership role with hands-on elements, responsible for driving test strategy, managing a multi-location test team, and ensuring end-to-end quality across ETL, platform integration, and cutover readiness. The program involves a large-scale migration from legacy systems to a modern core platform, with a customer-centric lens and deep regulatory implications. You will shape and execute the testing roadmap, embed automation thinking, and oversee quality delivery from discovery through to post-go-live. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end testing strategy and execution across customer migration, data validation, ETL pipelines, and core banking systems. Oversee test planning, environment readiness, execution, defect management, and sign-off across functional and non-functional streams. Drive automation strategy , with a focus on embedding test coverage into CI/CD pipelines and improving regression efficiency. Manage a blended test team (onshore and offshore), including vendors, permanent staff, and contract testers. Collaborate closely with program leadership , delivery managers, architects, and business sponsors to ensure alignment on quality outcomes. Support cutover planning, production validation , and go/no-go readiness activities, with a sharp focus on risk mitigation and rollback planning. Deliver clear test progress updates, quality metrics, and audit-ready documentation in line with internal governance and external compliance requirements. What We're Looking For 15 years in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in senior Test/Program Test Manager roles. Demonstrated experience in core banking migrations , including customer data migration, legacy platform decommissioning, and platform integrations. Strong knowledge of ETL, data transformation, and data validation processes (SQL, APIs, staging layers, etc). Solid understanding of Agile, SAFe, and hybrid ("Wagile") delivery environments. Experience leading distributed teams and vendor management (TCS, Infosys, or similar). Hands-on capability with test tooling and automation frameworks (e.g. JIRA, Tosca, Postman, PyTest, Jenkins). Ability to build and mentor test teams , create self-managed ways of working, and lead from the front. Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to influence delivery outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance. Nice to Have Familiarity with core banking platforms (e.g., Fiserv Signature) Exposure to APRA-aligned compliance requirements Experience supporting system transitions through M&A or acquisition-driven change
