The Opportunity: This is a fabulous opportunity for a Mudgee local looking for an opportunity that is fast paced, challenging and rewarding with room to grow and develop. As the Project Administrator you will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for providing confidential and comprehensive administrative support, including finance administration, accounts payable/receivable and a high-level of stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: Weekly payroll assistance including following up missing hours, entering leave, and answering payroll queries. Processing of Accounts payable and Accounts Receivables Data management and preparing reports Maintain Company and project specific filing systems and disciplines, both electronic and hard copy Monitor and follow up on the daily recording of timesheet data by field staff, as well as directly performing timesheet entry (for importation into Payroll) in some circumstances Assisting the Finance Manager with reporting at month-end Liaise with Engineers to ensure that all progress claims and variations are entered into our financial accounting system on a timely basis, entering them yourself as required Convert certified claims into tax invoices and send to Client in accordance with the Contract Required Skills and Competencies Business or other relevant degree/diploma an advantage Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role involving financial related task, report writing and high level administrative support Exposure to AR/AP and financial reporting Experience in a project-based environment such as infrastructure highly desirable Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
