Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for a highly skilled Principal Process Engineer to lead and oversee electrical and instrumentation aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed to a high standard, within budget and on schedule for a major capital works program in Laverton, Victoria. This includes analysing process technologies, conducting feasibility studies, and developing process engineering deliverables for projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors. Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes Ensures all designs and processes adhere to relevant safety regulations, codes, and standard Take on a lead role in HAZOP studies to ensure compliance with functional safety requirements Supports plant commissioning, development of commissioning documents, and actively leads commissioning activities Identifies process optimization opportunities to enhance process efficiencies and performance Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders Qualifications What makes you remarkable? Minimum 12 years’ direct experience managing projects on major hazards facilities (MHF) Demonstrable experience of embedding process safety considerations into all aspects of process engineering and design development Proven experience of being directly involved on projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors.
