Impact you will have in this role As the Individual Giving Specialist, you’ll support the design and delivery of the Regular Giving and appeals programs, working across channels including direct mail, phone, SMS, and digital. You’ll be instrumental in creating compelling campaigns that engage supporters and drive impact, while building strong technical skills in donor journeys, campaign analysis, and CRM systems. Whether you’re an early-career fundraiser looking to step into a more specialist role or a commercial marketer with transferable skills in direct marketing and campaign coordination, this is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills in a purpose-driven environment, all while being coached and mentored by an experienced Fundraising Manager. Key Responsibilities Coordinate multi-channel donor campaigns, with a focus on Regular Giving and appeals, including timelines, creative briefs, proofing, and stakeholder engagement. Support donor acquisition and retention across direct mail, phone, SMS, and digital channels, with digital support via the Digital Campaign Specialist. Draft and proof donor communications, including newsletters, ensuring supporter experiences are engaging and meaningful. Collaborate with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to bring campaigns to life. Prepare campaign data and reports, with the chance to sharpen your skills in CRM (Salesforce) and analytics. Skills and Experience We’re looking for someone eager to learn and grow. You will have: 1-2 years’ experience in fundraising, direct marketing, communications, or similar (agency or in-house) Exposure to campaign delivery, including managing timelines, briefs, or supplier relationships. An understanding of direct marketing principles, or curiosity to build expertise in this space. Good grasp of data handling by pulling lists, checking accuracy, or working with Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable drafting supporter-facing content. Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative team mindset with willingness to learn and adapt. Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce highly regarded). Interest in digital fundraising and automation tools.
