Trainee – Certificate III in Aquaculture 2 Year Traineeship Carpentaria Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team as a Trainee in Aquaculture. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aquaculture industry while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Aquaculture. About the role As a Trainee, you will work under the guidance of experienced staff to learn all aspects of aquaculture operations, including: Assisting with the care, feeding and monitoring of aquatic stock Maintaining tanks, ponds and equipment Supporting water quality testing and monitoring programs Recording and reporting operational data Following workplace health and safety practices What we are looking for We are seeking a candidate who is: Interested in aquaculture, fisheries, or environmental sustainability Willing to undertake formal training and study requirements Reliable, committed, and eager to learn Able to work both independently and as part of a team A full position description is available Please Click here .
