The Role: In the role of Accounts Payable Officer reporting to our Financial Controller you will working in a small team ensuring smooth operations across the department. Your responsibilities will include: Register accounts payable invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Financial Delegation Authority. Perform three-way matching of tax invoices against purchase orders and goods received notes. Set up suppliers for document capture in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and resolve any issues with invoices not automatically processed. Process Accounts Payable payment runs efficiently. Manage and organise various Accounts Payable inboxes in a timely manner Reconcile creditor statements with accounting records. Address external vendor inquiries regarding accounts payable. Respond to internal staff inquiries related to the accounts payable process, from purchase order to payment. Assist in the month-end reconciliation of Accounts Payable. Step into the Senior Accounts Payable Officer during their leave. Your Profile: We are looking for someone with: Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes Excellent consulting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel Advanced organisational and time management skills Mature, confident, and professional work ethic Strong accounting and financial skills Employee Health, Wellbeing and Assistance Programs including complimentary onsite physio services.
