Opportunity available for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic in Darwin to join a highly reputable national construction company, known for delivering iconic projects and being a great place to work. Work with a nationally recognised, award-winning, privately owned construction company Darwin-based full-time permanent position Attractive hourly pay, reflective of experience and expertise Also introducing a tools allowance for all HD Fitters Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm, and Friday 7am-4pm As the HD fitter you would be responsible for completing all servicing and maintenance work orders for the Company's plant and equipment, motor vehicles and other P&E assets. The role: Service, maintain and repair vehicles, tools, plant and equipment (workshop & on-site) Perform inspections, testing and diagnostics Identify, report and provide guidance on faults/repairs Attend to breakdowns Operate heavy equipment within qualifications Ideally, we are looking for someone with: 5 years of experience as an HD fitter Experience with heavy earthmoving and mobile plant Basic hydraulic knowledge Licences: vehicle air-conditioning, electrical systems, forklift (HRWL) Construction Induction (White Card) Minimum HR Driver's Licence Apply here or contact Adam Armstrong for further details adama@foundationrec.com.au
