Blake Oliver Consulting has been engaged by a specialist consulting and technology firm focused on insurance transformation to appoint a Duck Creek Policy Tech Lead. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a team of developers, lead discussions with clients, and ensure the successful delivery of Duck Creek Policy solutions across large-scale insurance programs. This is a chance to step into a visible technical leadership role within a practice built around modern insurance platforms. You'll be working directly with clients on critical policy administration transformations, with the scope to influence solution design, integration, and quality standards. This role offers: Direct client-facing responsibility in shaping Duck Creek Policy solutions The opportunity to lead and mentor developers in a fast-paced delivery environment Hands-on involvement across configuration, integration, and testing Access to large-scale insurance transformation programs using Duck Creek Clear progression into broader architecture or solution leadership roles What you'll do Lead a team of developers in configuring and integrating Duck Creek Policy solutions Conduct discussions with clients on base functionality and required customisation Contribute to all phases of product development, including coding, integration, testing, and deployment Collaborate with system architects, vendors, and business partners to ensure seamless integration Analyse, maintain, and enhance existing programs with strong error handling and adherence to coding standards Prepare test data, perform unit testing, and maintain documentation What we're looking for 6-10 years' experience, with at least 4 years in Duck Creek Policy configuration and integration Strong knowledge of the DCOD environment and integration best practices Hands-on experience leading customer discussions and delivering customisations Proven ability to guide and mentor development teams Strong technical knowledge across product lifecycle, including error handling and code management Experience collaborating with architects and cross-functional teams Equal Opportunity Employment Blake Oliver Consulting and our client are equal opportunity employers.
