Great things start here The Brand, Marketing & Communications team is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing an integrated marketing program aligned with RACV's business priorities. As a key part of the team, Leisure Marketing focuses on driving awareness, engagement, and activation among RACV Members and customers across the leisure business, including RACV Resorts, RACV Club, Conference & Events, Travel Insurance, and RACV Travel & Experiences. We are seeking a dynamic leader to head the Leisure Marketing team and collaborate closely with senior Leisure leadership. This role is integral to the Brand, Marketing & Communications team and will work with the broader Membership & Digital and Leisure teams. About the Opportunity You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic marketing plan for the Leisure portfolio, including proposition development, media strategy, local area marketing, communication programs, and measurement and optimization. In this role, you will: Lead the development and implementation of the Leisure component of the strategic Brand & Marketing plan to meet business targets. Champion and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy across the Leisure portfolio. Develop and refine values-based propositions to meet and challenge benchmarks and targets. Contribute to business strategy development in collaboration with Leisure leadership. Engage with senior managers to develop and execute business and marketing plans. Coordinate with broader Marketing teams to align requirements with business strategy. Lead by example, coaching team members and managing performance. Manage the marketing budget and ensure plan outcomes are achieved. Promote efficiency through active planning and optimization. Manage relationships with media, creative agencies, and destination partners to deliver marketing initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team. What you’ll need to be successful Extensive strategic marketing experience in B2C sectors, with knowledge of travel and/or hospitality industries. Experience in member-based organizations or loyalty programs is advantageous. Proven ability to develop and oversee multi-stream marketing strategies. Strong quantitative skills and strategic marketing expertise. Experience leading high-performing teams and achieving business outcomes. Excellent presentation, communication, and written skills. Financial and commercial acumen. Leadership experience guiding development of team members. Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills. Collaborative team player.
