Tell me about this role: Amentum is seeking proactive and technically minded Graduate Electrical Engineers who are eager to support a sovereign technology program delivering critical capability to Defence. This opportunity is ideal for an emerging engineer with 2–3 years of experience, ready to grow under the mentorship of senior professionals in a high-performance, mission-focused environment. What will I be doing day to day? Capability and concept development Requirements engineering and design implementation Integration engineering, Verification & Validation (V&V), and certification support Engineering planning, regulatory compliance, and resource coordination Technical reviews of contract deliverables What sort of skills do I need? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems design, maintenance, or troubleshooting Familiarity with Defence sector (below-the-line) preferred Proficiency in industry standards and engineering tools Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations Experience with power distribution, control systems, or embedded electronics Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen) What’s in it for me?
