UGL’s Industrial and Resources are seeking an Experienced Fitter for full time work, for a newly awarded long term maintenance contract in Kangaroo Valley on a pumped hydro project The role will be responsible for the daily maintenance tasks and defect resolution as assigned by the client. Additionally, the role includes supporting callouts and being available for potential extended working hours when required. The Mechanical Fitter will also provide assistance during unit forced outages at the Bendella and Kangaroo Valley sites. Carry out mechanical defect repairs, including work on pumps, alignments, pipework repairs, valve repairs, and fault diagnosis. Utilize the client's SAP system to log defects and develop plans for execution and resolution. Demonstrate a proactive approach by exceeding client expectations and delivering exceptional service. Respond to call-outs as required, ensuring prompt and effective support when needed.
