The Coffs Harbour Mission Australia Centre (MAC) is a vibrant space where individuals and families facing tough times find connection, support, and opportunity. It brings together local services and programs to create real, positive change. As our Administration Officer , you’ll be the welcoming face of the MAC and the engine behind its smooth operation. Reporting to the Centre Coordinator, you’ll manage front-of-house duties and key admin tasks that keep everything running seamlessly. If you’re organised, friendly, and love helping people feel at home — this role is for you! Your key responsibilities will be to: Be the welcoming face of the MAC —greet visitors and assist with inquiries. Deliver warm, trauma-informed customer service and protect client confidentiality. Connect people with support services and help respond to community feedback. Keep things running smoothly — manage admin tasks, invoicing, supplies and meetings. Maintain a tidy, safe, and inviting space for all. Support staff with systems, filing, and office tech. Requirements for Success Experience in admin, reception, and diary management. A qualification in Business Administration (highly regarded). Strong customer service and communication skills. Cultural awareness and a person-centered approach. Great time management, attention to detail, and tech skills. A team-first attitude and a valid driver’s license Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
