About Hopewell Hospice Hopewell Hospice is committed to providing exceptional end-of-life care with dignity and compassion. We focus on enhancing quality of life and supporting families through the journey of terminal illness. We are seeking permanent part time Nurses to join our team About the Role The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing holistic care in the hospice facility, that is an extension of the care model provided at Hopewell Hospice and meets the individual needs of the family. The Enrolled Nurse will embrace the philosophy of Hopewell Hospice, working closely with nurses and personal care workers. The Enrolled Nurse will provide hands on care to Guests within Hopewell Hospice. Key Role Accountabilities: Deliver holistic care and support to guests and families accessing the service, following relevant care plans and under the supervision of the clinical team. Observe, monitor, interpret, document and report signs, symptoms and changes in the child's status. Medication administration. Contribute to the formulation and implementation of care plans. Assist in the orientation of new staff. Participate in activities with guests as required and outlined by relevant practitioners. Deliver care, which is family centred, evidence based and meets all statutory requirements. Support guests with all aspects of daily living, including but not restricted to, personal care, associated light domestic duties and social/community participation. Provide guests with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual well-being. Act promptly should any changes to a guest’s condition be observed, seeking advice from the relevant clinical staff as appropriate. About You Current Enrolled Nurse registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with no restrictions. Ability to provide high level nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice. The ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism ensuring that the dignity and rights of guests and families are respected at all times. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance held before commencing. NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ completed before starting.
