Qualifications and skills (desired/required): Experience in retail, sales and customer service preferred but not mandatory as volunteers are always supported with on the job training. Willingness to give it a go and help others Good communication skills Required to fully complete TSA mission volunteer induction, training and registration process. Background check requirements: Background checks play an important part in our commitment to being a safe organisation. Below is what is required for this role. As this role isn’t child-related or have access to financial or property assets or sensitive information, it does not require background checks. Time Required & Commitment: Flexible with time commitments Development opportunities with this role: This role will give volunteers an opportunity to develop skills and build experience in retail practices, valuations of donations, sorting and stocking of shelves, as well as experience in working as a part of a team. Volunteers will receive on the job training and support, working alongside experienced retail professionals in a caring and supportive environment. As an extra bonus, volunteers have access to professional development training.
