How you will make contributions that matter: Continue your journey with Saputo Dairy Australia in the role of Leading Hand , where you will lead and direct the product flow for each shift within Sungold-Fresh Milk . Utilise your relationship-building skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and mentor staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Being a Leading Hand with Saputo: Leading and directing product flow during the early shift (4:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Monday to Friday), to then hand over to the PM Shift to ensure continuity of Operations Planning and organising daily shift operations to meet production targets Coordinating and delegating tasks across a team of 5 operators Mentoring and coaching team members to build capability and maintain performance Liaising with internal departments (e.g., maintenance, quality, logistics) and external stakeholders Monitoring compliance with QMS policies and procedures Participating in Food Safety (HACCP) reviews and maintaining high hygiene standards Enforcing occupational health and safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment Identifying and resolving operational issues with initiative and problem-solving skills Upholding team culture and calling out inappropriate behaviour when necessary About you: Forklift license (mandatory) Team Leader or Leadership experience will be highly regarded Certificate III in Food Processing or equivalent Certifications/Tickets as per WCB & NUW Agreement Passionate about the production of quality products and adherence to OHS and QMS policies Committed to training and mentoring others Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and SharePoint Excellent communication skills – both oral and written A strong focus on leading and motivating teams We’ll support you with: The opportunity to make contributions that matter, whilst being supported by a multinational, values-led company Learning and development opportunities with the ability to grow in your own way All applicants require full Australian working rights at the time of applying.
