Your Role St John of God Murdoch Hospital is a private hospital south of the river in Perth. The Hospital includes over 500 inpatient beds, WA’s premium private Emergency Department, stand-alone Hospice & Day Surgery facilities, large ICU & CCU and Cancer Centre - with a full range of clinical and diagnostic services. We are seeking qualified and experienced Emergency Consultants or Senior Registrars interested in joining our dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical team. Candidates must be available to work day, afternoon, and night shifts as needed. Both part-time and casual positions are available. The Position Provide clinical management of emergency department patients. Maintain ethical and respectful behaviour to all staff and patients. Is available to review any patient causing concern and or nursing staff unable to contact bed card doctor. Is available to review patients in the Emergency Observation Unit who have been admitted under the Emergency Department Bed Card. Is available when on call to attend the Emergency Department within 30 minutes of notification. Participate fully in the doctors’ roster including after hours on call duties, as agreed with the Head of Department. Participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment. You will demonstrate the ability to build and work with a collaborative team in the delivery of high-quality emergency medical care, including driving clinical quality initiatives.
