You’ll be based out of Alkimos working on a major water infrastructure project. The Project The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year. The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks. Key accountabilities for the position: As an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction Maintain documentation and systems for quality, safety, environmental Some exposure to maintaining planning/programming to assist Project managers with 4-6 week lookahead's Able to read/interpret design plans & drawings Participate in client/contractor meetings where required Financial assisting of cost tracking/invoicing of subcontractors on different packages of work Report upstream to project/senior project engineers but gain leadership exposure with grads/undergrads Foster collaborative and effective relationships with a range of internal/external stakeholders Required Skills and Competencies You will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or something similar You will have a solid foundation of site-based experience working on a range of buildings projects from construction to fit-out An ability to understand design, problem solve, learn, adapt and continually challenge yourself Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients What we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
