People & Culture Business Partner, Corporate Employee Lifecycle - BAU & Projects UGL provides engineering, construction, and maintenance services across industries including rail, transport, telecommunications, oil and gas, power, renewables, resources, water, and defence in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. About the role In this role you will support the Corporate team to provide day-to-day P&C support, reporting to the Group Manager, People & Development, to drive initiatives across UGL's operating divisions. Based out of our North Sydney office, the corporate team plays a vital role in delivering strategic leadership, governance, financial reporting, and people development to support the company’s operational divisions. The position provides exposure to the senior leadership team, including working at the General Manager level and reporting to a Group Manager who works directly with the Executive General Manager ELT. Excellent opportunity to support decision-making at some of the highest levels within the organisation. Guide the team to use Oracle HCM, become a super user for our new employee engagement survey platform, and support the team in adapting to new systems and processes. Key responsibilities Support the corporate team of approximately 180 employees with everyday P&C admin tasks to include changes to work conditions, advising on parental leave, coaching managers on challenging conversations, drafting show cause letters and processing promotions or other approvals. Guide leaders in setting objectives, having meaningful mid-year check-in conversations, and completing end-of-year reviews using Oracle HCM. Support the annual Remuneration Cycle by gathering and presenting people metrics, navigating Oracle HCM for performance development reviews, enabling discussions, and calibrating recommendations. Play a key role in the companywide Employee Engagement Survey project, from communications to presenting actionable insights to senior leaders. About you Experience in a similar P&C/HR role for a large complex environment. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Being tech savvy with a strong ability to navigate software and systems such as Oracle HCM or SAP. High level of confidentiality and high attention to detail.
