Due to an ongoing phase of growth, they are looking for an experienced Financial Controller, or Finance Manager looking to take the next step in their career - to oversee all financial aspects of their portfolio. A newly created role and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in real estate & property finance and/or investment; capable of driving financial performance as well as ensuring internal compliance with regulatory standards. This is a role that will directly impact the next stage of growth for this group. Your Responsibilities will cover the following areas: Financial Reporting and Auditing : ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (with assistance from internal and external accountants to manage the process) Project Financial Management: budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, project and variation analysis, feasibility studies Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Oversee funding requirements to ensure liquidity across projects and managing financial risk Process Involvement & Strategic Support: Implement processes and internal controls for the financial operations, working together with senior leadership to support decision making and business recommendations Finance Team Leadership and Management: Support and manage the internal Project and Financial Accounting Team, along with the CFO and mentor junior team members in their growth and understanding. stakeholder management.
