POSITION Households Manager | VVIP Private Estates LOCATION France & United Kingdom The client will assist in relocation if not local. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Households Manager is responsible for the seamless daily running of prestigious private residences in both France and the UK. The successful candidate will oversee all household departments, ensuring the highest standards of service, comfort, and discretion for a VVIP family. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written). Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a team of approx. 15 staff. Knowledge of royal and diplomatic protocols, with experience serving UHNW or VVIP households. Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and delegate effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel between residences. Discreet and trustworthy, with a strong sense of confidentiality. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in senior household management within luxury estates, Middle East royal households, or UHNW residences. Experienced in managing all household departments, including kitchen, food & beverage service, housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe, and childcare support. Skilled in inventory control, procurement, and vendor liaison. Experienced in event planning and execution, from intimate family dinners to large-scale receptions. Capable of supervising property maintenance, including gardening, vehicles, and security coordination. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage, train, and motivate a multicultural team of 15 staff, ensuring smooth operations across all departments. Implement and maintain household manuals, schedules, and procedures for both residences. Oversee housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe, and table service standards to ensure consistency and excellence. Supervise kitchen and food service operations in close collaboration with chefs and service staff. Ensure child-friendly and family-oriented household support when required. Maintain household budgets, financial reporting, and stock control. Arrange and oversee private events, dinners, and family gatherings. Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Ensure residences are always ready for occupancy at the highest standard. Liaise closely with the Principals to anticipate and respond to their needs. Co-ordinate logistics of transporting the main operation (Domestic Staff) to the other location.
